Groundwater purification

As we all know, well water is divided into shallow well water and deep well water because it is produced artificially by underground people.

Shallow well water is infiltrated downward by rainwater and ground silt.

Deep well water flows from veins in the crust.

From this point of view, there will be some impurities in shallow well water, while deep well water, due to the flow in the crust, has a lot of mineral content, such as iron and manganese, calcium exceeding the standard.

Strictly speaking, well water contains excessive iron and manganese, which is called iron and manganese underground well water. Therefore, groundwater purification equipment must be adopted.

From the drinking point of view: when the iron content in groundwater is high, the water smells of iron, which affects the taste of water, this is the second; the most serious is scale.

What is the scale?

We call water containing minerals such as calcium and magnesium salts "hard water". It is the main cause of scale formation.

If we don't understand the common phenomena:

The wall of the thermos bottle, which is often used to open water, will have a thick layer of white dirt attached to it. This is what we often call scale.

Is scale harmful?

From the formation of scale, water precipitates easily soluble substances (calcium bicarbonate and magnesium bicarbonate) into insoluble substances during heating.

For example, the thermal decomposition of calcium bicarbonate and magnesium bicarbonate occurs in water:

Ca(HCO3)2→CaCO3+CO2+H2O

Mg(HCO3)2→Mg(OH)+CO2

In addition, the scale also contains deposits of heavy metals, dust, pathogens, eggs, and corpses, which are not only unsanitary but also seriously affect human health.

According to chemical analysis, there are a large number of heavy metals in scales. Facts also prove that scales not only cause a variety of stone diseases but also cause diseases of digestive, nervous, urinary, hematopoietic and circulatory systems and cause aging.

Long-term intake of heavy metals can cause human body poisoning, and many heavy metals can cause canceration.

From the industrial point of view: as water for papermaking, textile, printing and dyeing, chemical industry and leather refinement, product quality will be reduced; hot metal can make household appliances such as pots and bathtubs rusty spots, washing clothes will appear yellow or brown stains.

Fe2O3, an iron deposit, can grow iron bacteria, block pipes and sometimes produce red water. The problems of water with high manganese content are similar to those of water with high iron content.

For example: make watercolored, smelling and tasting, damage the quality of textile, paper, brewing, food and other industrial products, household appliances will be polluted into brown or black, washing clothes will be slightly black or light gray stains.

Household water treatment scheme:

Live water treatment: If you do not need to drink directly, three-stage filtration has been enough.

First stage filtration: manganese sand, removal of iron and manganese in water, etc.

Secondary filtration: Activated carbon: strong adsorption of organic substances and foreign color, odor, such as iron odor.

The third stage of filtration: cationic resin: through ion exchange, softening water quality. Remove calcium and magnesium ions. Or two tanks. The first tank contains manganese sand and activated carbon, and the second tank contains positive resin.

Industrial water treatment scheme:

According to the characteristics of groundwater, a water softener was developed to remove iron and manganese filters and scale.

Pump deep well water into the reservoir.

In this process, you need to use Johnson screens groundwater and Wells.

By installing an aeration device, iron and manganese in water react fully with oxygen in the air and form divalent iron or trivalent manganese insoluble in water and precipitate.

Secondly, the iron and manganese can be removed by removing the high-quality manganese sand in the iron and manganese filter.

The activated carbon in the multi-media filter is used to remove the odor (iron odor) from the water.

The softening resin in the water softener can be added to remove the hardness of the water, and the last security filter is OK.

It should be noted that the resin in the filter also needs to be captured through Johnson screen.
